Ronald David Paul was a founding member of EagleBank. He helped establish the Bethesda, Maryland-based bank in 1998 and spent more than two decades in the position of president, chairman of the board, and chief executive officer. Under this leadership, EagleBank grew from a startup to an $8 billion organization. During his time as a leader at the bank, Ronald David Paul received Banker of the Year honors from the American Bankers Association and testified before Congress on numerous national banking issues.
Ronald Paul’s previous positions include bookkeeper for the Middle States Construction accounting department and accounting for the audit department at Coopers and Lybrand in New York City. He has driven operations at Ronald D. Paul Companies in Bethesda since 1983, during which time he has successfully managed numerous real estate projects and related business ventures throughout the nation.
In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Paul is an active philanthropist. He received the Volunteer of the Year award from the National Kidney Foundation and Father of the Year honors from the National Diabetes Foundation, among other honors.
